Color2Sound Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 22, 2026
Color2Sound ("the app") turns the colors in a picture into sound. This page explains what happens to your information. It adds app-specific detail to the Rocolito Development privacy policy.
Color2Sound does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
Your pictures
- Pictures you choose from your photo library, photos you take, and live camera images are used only on your device, only to work out which colors are in them.
- They are never uploaded, sent over the internet, or shared.
- The app does not save your pictures or camera images. When you close a picture or the live camera, the image is gone from the app.
Camera and photo library access
The app asks for access to the camera only so you can take a picture or use the live camera. You can turn camera access off at any time in your device's Settings.
To choose a picture from your library, the app uses the system photo picker. The picker shares only the pictures you select, and the app cannot see the rest of your photo library.
Information stored on your device
The app remembers your sound settings (for example, which instrument plays for each color) and whether you have seen the welcome screen. This stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.
What the app does not do
- No accounts or sign-in
- No advertising
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No third-party code that collects data
- No sharing of data with anyone
Email support
If you email us, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to reply to you and do not share them.
Children
The app collects no information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
